Project Background
This solution was implemented at the Lezhi Management Center of the Chengdu-Anshun-Chongqing Expressway. The main structure is a six-story building primarily housing the traffic monitoring center and daily information-based offices. Two separate two-story auxiliary buildings are located on either side of the main building, serving as dormitories for on-duty personnel. Considering that the primary wireless network users at the expressway management center are internal staff, the personnel structure is relatively lean, and some employees are frequently out on duty, the overall number of network access terminals remains relatively stable. Therefore, the solution design can precisely match the actual device capacity requirements, effectively optimizing investment costs while ensuring core functionality and user experience.

Core Challenges Analysis
1. Cross-Building Wide-Area Coverage: Simultaneous coverage is required for the main office building and the two dormitory buildings. The dispersed architectural layout places high demands on AP placement planning and signal coverage range.
2. Penetration of Complex Wall Structures: Both office and dormitory areas feature multi-compartment layouts with significant wall obstructions, requiring wireless equipment with strong signal penetration and coverage capabilities.
3. Centralized Management for Multiple Devices: The relatively large coverage area necessitates a higher number of APs, requiring convenient and unified operation and management tools to reduce long-term maintenance complexity and costs.
4. Mobile Office and Seamless Roaming: Office personnel frequently move within the buildings, necessitating seamless wireless network handovers across areas to ensure uninterrupted continuity of critical services like monitoring and communications.
5. Network Access Security Control: As a core traffic management unit, it is essential to ensure the wireless network is secure and reliable, preventing unauthorized access and potential network attacks.
COMFAST Enterprise-Grade Wireless Coverage Solution

Deployment Plan
1. Equipment Selection: Based on the moderate scale of terminals, COMFAST commercial ceiling-mount APs (Model CF-E320N) were selected. Each device covers approximately 300 square meters, provides 300Mbps wireless speed, and supports automatic channel selection and seamless roaming features, effectively avoiding co-channel interference.

2. Network Architecture: All APs are centrally managed via a COMFAST AC gateway. This gateway can manage up to 100+ APs, supports intelligent traffic control, load balancing, and local authentication, meeting the networking needs of small-to-medium enterprises.

3. Reliability Design: The APs feature built-in hardware watchdog chips, supporting automatic device reset and scheduled reboots, significantly enhancing long-term operational stability and reducing manual intervention.

Core Advantages of the Solution
1. Precise Coverage, Stable and Reliable: Equipment selection and placement planning were based on actual personnel density. This ensures full signal coverage across all office and dormitory areas while, through seamless roaming and intelligent traffic control technologies, guaranteeing smooth and stable connectivity for mobile office work and daily internet use.
2. Centralized Visibility, Efficient Management: The AC controller enables unified configuration, status monitoring, and batch management of all APs, greatly simplifying network operation and maintenance tasks and improving management efficiency.
3. Secure and Controllable, Standardized Access: Supports multiple authentication mechanisms, and identifies and controls risky applications and URLs. Combined with security features like ARP protection, it creates a secure and trustworthy internal network environment.
4. High Cost-Effectiveness and Scalability: The solution fully aligns with the user’s actual scale, avoiding performance overkill and achieving cost optimization. The network architecture offers excellent scalability, allowing for flexible expansion in response to future personnel or service growth, protecting long-term investment.
