Three buying rules to turn cents into coverage<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

1. Position = \u00bd the performance \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rule of thumb: half-way between router and dead zone, where you still see two bars. Use any free Wi-Fi analyzer app; aim for \u201360 dBm or stronger.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Speed grade must \u2265 the router \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gigabit router + 100 Mbps repeater = instant 100 Mbps ceiling for every device behind it. Match or beat the router\u2019s tier: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
