Step 1: Set up the wiring diagram

Step 2: Set the computer to automatically obtain an IP address and connect the device’s LAN port to enter the device management interface.
Step 3: The device defaults to the interface-based fat AP mode. To enter the settings page:
(1) Under the default configuration, power on and wait for about 90 seconds for the device to start.
(2) Connect the PC and the device’s LAN port with an Ethernet cable.
(3) Enter 192.168.10.1 in the PC browser to enter the management interface.
(4) You need to set a password for the first login. The device has Chinese and English language options. Use the icon in the upper right corner to set the language.
Step 4: Enter the device wizard page. The “Configuration Wizard” page has four working modes: AP mode, bridge mode, routing mode (broadband Internet access, static address, dynamic acquisition), and relay mode.
Step 5: Click AP mode. For ease of management, the IP address and default gateway entered here should be the IP network segment of the upper router. The IP address cannot conflict with the IP address of the upper router. After completing the setup, connect the device’s WAN port or the LAN port of the POE power supply to the internet and access the management device using the configured IP address.
Note: ① When connected to the internet in AP mode, other mobile devices accessing the AP’s wireless network will obtain an IP address in the same network segment as the parent device.
② The AP itself must be assigned a private IP address (do not set the same IP address as the parent router). If you need to manage devices, the PC connected to the AP must manually set an IP address in the same network segment as this private IP address.
Step 6: In AP mode, you can set the 2.4G/5.8G wireless SSID name and password, as well as configure advanced wireless parameters such as channel bandwidth, country, and frequency. After completing the setup, connect the device’s WAN port or the LAN port of the POE power supply to the internet; other mobile devices can connect to the internet by wirelessly connecting to the device’s SSID name and entering the password.
