When your COMFAST wireless adapter shows\u00a0“Connected”<\/strong>\u00a0with full signal strength, but the actual internet speed is extremely slow\u2014such as laggy webpage loading or download speeds far below your broadband plan\u2019s rated speed\u2014the issue is mostly related to signal quality, network congestion, device interference, or incorrect parameter settings. Follow these steps below to optimize the connection and boost your internet speed quickly.<\/span><\/div>\n
Step 1: Check Signal Quality and Transmission Band<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n
First, use the adapter\u2019s management software to check the\u00a0signal strength<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0transmission rate<\/strong>. If the signal strength is less than 4 bars, or the transmission rate is lower than 54 Mbps for the 2.4G band or 300 Mbps for the 5G band, it means the signal quality is poor.<\/span><\/div>\n

\u00b7Move the adapter to a\u00a0higher, unobstructed position<\/strong>, such as a corner of the desktop or the top of a bookshelf, avoiding blocking by walls, wardrobes, metal objects and other barriers.<\/span><\/p>\n
