Project Background
This project serves the Zhumadian Extreme Water World, a large-scale comprehensive tourism destination with a total investment of 360 million RMB. Centered around a water park, it integrates an ecological hotel, leisure fitness facilities, and cultural attractions. The park is divided into indoor and outdoor areas, featuring up to 17 mainstream premium water attractions. To match its high-end positioning and visitor experience requirements, establishing a comprehensive, high-capacity, and highly reliable wireless network coverage system is essential. Stable, high-speed WiFi is not only essential infrastructure for a modern smart scenic area but also a key enabler for enhancing visitor satisfaction and achieving digital operations.

Core Challenges Analysis
1. Environmental Complexity and High Device Requirements: Coverage areas encompass indoor, outdoor, and waterside environments, resulting in a complex network architecture. Outdoor equipment must possess excellent waterproof, lightning-proof, corrosion-resistant, and wide-temperature operational capabilities to withstand harsh weather conditions like rain, wind, and sun exposure.
2. Extremely High-Density Access Pressure: During peak visitor hours, the area experiences very high user density. Ordinary wireless equipment lacks the client capacity to handle the simultaneous connection of a massive number of terminals, easily leading to network congestion and connection failures.
3. Large-Area Coverage and Signal Dead Zones: The park’s extensive area presents significant challenges for wireless equipment in terms of transmission distance, coverage uniformity, and eliminating dead zones.
4. Business Operations and Marketing Enablement Needs: The network must include marketing function interfaces, supporting the push of park information, peripheral services, and promotional content to visitors, transforming network access into commercial value.
COMFAST Amusement Park Wireless Coverage Solution

Deployment Plan
1. Outdoor Area Coverage: To address the characteristics of large outdoor areas, variable environments, and high user density, COMFAST’s new-generation high-power gigabit dual-band outdoor APs (Model CF-WA850) were selected for deployment. This device supports wireless speeds up to 1750 Mbps, with a single-unit capacity exceeding 200 terminals. It is equipped with 6 power amplifier chips and 4 high-gain antennas, offering strong signal penetration, a large coverage radius, and environmental resilience. A total of 10 units were deployed for this project.

2. Indoor Area Coverage: For diverse indoor scenarios such as leisure and office areas, COMFAST gigabit dual-band ceiling-mount APs (Model CF-E355AC) were deployed. This device offers 1200 Mbps high speed, high client capacity, and excellent anti-interference capabilities, meeting current and future networking demands. 10 units were also deployed for the indoor section of this project.

3. Centralized Management Platform: All indoor and outdoor APs are uniformly managed by one COMFAST Gigabit Core Gateway (Model CF-AC500). This gateway can manage up to 1000 APs and supports 2000 concurrent users. Paired with OrangeOS, it enables AC management, multi-authentication, load balancing, behavior control, and comprehensive network security protection.
Core Advantages of the Solution
1. Professional Deployment for Complex Environments: Through differentiated equipment selection and scientific planning for indoor and outdoor areas, the solution effectively addresses coverage challenges in complex scenarios like waterside environments, open spaces, and partitioned areas, achieving zero signal dead zones.
2. Exceptional Coverage Capability and Connection Quality: Outdoor APs utilize high-performance chips and quality components to ensure stable long-distance transmission. Indoor AP deployment is optimized to eliminate blind spots. The overall solution significantly enhances signal strength and quality.
3. Smooth Experience Under High-Density Access: Leveraging the high client capacity foundation of the premium hardware, combined with the intelligent traffic control and load balancing functions of the AC Gateway, ensures that even during peak visitor hours, a massive number of terminals can still enjoy a fast, stable, and uninterrupted network experience.
4. Marketing Enablement and Commercial Value-Add: Supports various access methods like Portal authentication and WeChat Connect WiFi, facilitating the park’s ability to push information about attractions, event previews, and surrounding businesses to visitors, realizing visitor conversion and value extension.
5. Unified Operation and Efficient Management: Centralized monitoring, configuration, and maintenance of all APs through the core gateway significantly reduce long-term management complexity and operational costs, ensuring the network’s long-term stable operation.
