Pick the role that solves your biggest headache and follow the cheat-sheet below.<\/p>\n

1. Gigabit Switch \u2013 More Ports, Zero Cost \u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Problem: game console, smart-TV, desktop, NAS\u2014your main router\u2019s LAN ports are full. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Fix: run one Ethernet cable from any LAN port on the new router to any LAN port on the old one, log in to the old unit, disable DHCP, save. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Result: every remaining LAN port on the recycled box becomes a live gigabit socket. No new switch to buy, no power brick to spare.<\/p>\n

2. Wi-Fi Repeater \u2013 Kill the Dead Zone \u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n
